Welcome to The Davis Hall in West Camel, Somerset

The Davis Hall is a modern, clean and state-of-the-art hall available to hire for a range of activities.  We are based in the picturesque village of West Camel, and conveniently located just off the A303.

We run a huge range of activities here at the hall, such as dance classes, gardening club, Pilates and musical events.  We also offer a private hire service for parties and weddings, as well as an ideal venue to host business meetings and conferences.

For information about availability please see our calendar and News tab, or to get a real feel for the Hall visit us any Thursday morning from 9.15 to 11.15 a.m. for Coffee and Cakes, Post Office, Books, a selection from The Bakery, and eggs and local produce as available.

You will be given a warm welcome and a comfortable chair!

Please be aware that access from the A303 is no longer available at the top of Howell Hill, but via Plowage Lane, which is further west when approaching from the Sparkford roundabout.  This is due to the dualling works currently taking place.

COVID 19 INFORMATION

We have followed Government guidelines regarding the 2020 pandemic and continue to maintain the hall giving due consideration to any current guidelines.  Sanitising routines are taken seriously.  Hand sanitiser is still provided at entrance and exit if required.

Should anyone feel unwell there is a fully equipped First Aid kit with PPE at the 1st Aid station set up in the Committee Room so that the person can be isolated until it is possible to take them home.
